Podcast Episode 50-An Unexpected Episode- Coming from an extremely organized person today I’m talking about when things don’t go as planned, do you still trust God’s way is best? with your Host-Caroline Rogers

Yielding
Yielding to God’s plan even when it’s not yours is not a concept I have not thought about or been convicted by in my life. Todays “Unexpected Podcast Episode” is just another reminder to not hold too tightly onto my own agenda.
If you have listened to the Podcast for any bit of time you know that my goal is to encourage women, to let God lead the Podcast. I interview REAL house wives of the Kingdom, everyday ladies just like you. If you have been a guest on the Podcast you know that I pray before we ever press record, and you have heard me say that I pray throughout the editing process.
I have always wanted every ounce of this Podcast to be the Lords, which is why I have pursued to do it with excellence. The Bible talks about being diligent:
He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
Proverbs 10:4
While I don’t make any money on this Podcast I really take this wisdom to mean your diligence will prove to bring you a return. In the case of the Podcast this means I had hoped it would be heard and would honor God and encourage the listeners.
Best laid Plans
While being organized isn’t a bad thing I had allowed my intentionality to become a rigid box. God has Blessed this Podcast over and over. He has brought people to mind to interview right when I asked and has helped with technical difficulties galore. Yet, I allowed Episode 50 to get the better of me. I had scheduled for there to be 4 testimonies but the Lord hadn’t brought the interview yet for #50. As I blew past my date of comfort for recording, editing and posting all I felt frustrated.
I was still praying for God to bring the right interview but He just hadn’t made it clear yet. Then I heard His sweet gentle voice . He asked, “Are you listening”. He wanted to know if I was ok if there was a gap in episodes. Or if there were just 3 testimonies not the 4 I had planned months ago. I yielded, confessed and told Him whatever He wants. I had started to be more worried about looking like I was doing a good job. Instead of holding my schedule loosely.
Thankfully He is so kind and gracious! But He did ask me to get real and honest with you all here on the Podcast. So here I am, give the episode a listen, I’ll leave you with this scripture:
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.’
Proverbs 3:5-7
