Podcast Episode #36- The Benefits of Creating a family Culture- What do you want your family to be known for? -with Kimberly Amici
About my Guest on the Podcast
What do you want your family to be known for? Today on the Podcast as part of my Children and Parenting Series I have Kimberly Amici. She is a Real House Wife of the Kingdom and serves God through her marriage, parenting, writing, coaching and hosting her own Podcast, the “Build your Best Family” Podcast.
What exactly is family culture?
Family culture is what kids can expect when they come home after a long day at school. It’s what your relatives can count on when they come visit you for the Holidays. It’s what friends can experience when they stop by unannounced. Just as in business, family culture refers to how we relate to one another, how we work together and how we achieve goals.
Is my child too young to understand or benefit from this? We become aware of branding at a very young age. You know what to expect in the stores you shop in, kids don’t even need to read to know where they are and what they can expect from many different businesses.
God gave Kimberly insight to apply the same knowledge and concept to her family life. What do you want people to feel like when they leave your families presence?
This is a vital part of any thriving business, why not use it to be intentional in your home?
Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.Isaiah 58:12
3 questions you ask to start cultivating a family culture in your home
- Ask yourself what do you want your family to be known for?
- When people leave us as a family, how do we want them to feel?
- What do we have to do to make it a reality?

Small Steps over time
The amazing thing about culture is it’s small steps over time. When you are consistent you will start to see progress and change in your family. So don’t get discouraged.
It’s never too late or early to start! Wether you are dreaming of the life you will live, or are in the, middle of middle age be intentional! Give your family a sense of purpose and belonging to accomplish what God has called each of you to do! Even when life changes drastically, knowing your’ why helps you pivot your’ how without compromise.
