Episode #8- A look inside 19 years of marriage
My guest on the Podcast is my sweet hubby Kevin
My guest, the one who made me a house wife

So while my hubby is not a house wife of the Kingdom, he made me one! On the Podcast today we are chatting about what it’s been like for us to be married for 19 years. We are sharing things that have enriched our marriage and want to pass them on to those who are married, who are getting married or who want to be married. We are also sharing some lessons learned in hopes that you don’t have to learn them the hard way.

Marriage doesn’t have to be hard

Yep, that’s what I said, and what I meant. You don’t have to go through some crazy hard time for your marriage to be good, and you don’t have to say it’s hard just because everyone in society says so.

It’s true that marriage takes intention, and you have to be willing like in our walk with Christ to deny yourself and put your spouse first. This is where I think people feel it’s hard, because it isn’t easy or natural to put someone else’s needs above your own.

Still I believe even if you are practicing the challenging feat of denying yourself and putting your spouse’s needs first it will yield joy and fulfillment.

Do you want to thrive in your marriage, or just survive?
