Why Are Life Transitions so hard? What can we do to prepare for them?
The transitions we expect after getting married such as, buying a house, moving, having babies, kids going off to college, retirement can sometimes be challenging to navigate. We often take out our stress and frustrations on our spouse.
When unexpected things happen like job loss, medical emergencies, health changes, death of loved ones, home loss it can cause even more friction. If we aren’t prepared with the right tools we can find ourselves distant and even resentful of our spouse and marriages.
So how can we cope with life transitions?
God has given us His Word as a road map, and He has also given us the body of Christ to come along side and pray for and encourage each other.
Those brothers and sisters who have gone before us and weathered these changes can give us some great insight! God has also equipped those who have dedicated their lives and hearts to studying the ins and outs of marriage are such an asset to us!

Scripture we referenced
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
